This is a full-time position for an Industrial Electric Product Sales Applications Engineer at a well-established structural manufacturer with over a century of industry presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Participating in the development of estimates, proposals, processes, and projects
- Reviewing customer switchgear requests
- Creating building layouts
- Preparing detailed Requests For Quote
- Conducting calculations
- Assisting estimators
- Participating in project-related meetings
- Sharing technical expertise and providing necessary tech support
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical switchgear and transformer equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an additional 5 years of related experience
- 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and/or industrial electrical project management
- 5+ years of experience with electrical controls, industrial automation and/or electrical distribution
- Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Stable work history
- US citizenship or Green Card holder status
- Residence within a 45-minute drive of Fitchburg, WI
