We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support the growth of our operations in Romeoville, IL. This position follows a rotating schedule of 3-2-2-3, offering flexibility while maintaining consistent hours.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and Repair Equipment - Troubleshoot mechanical issues on food processing and packaging machinery, including mixers, blenders, ovens, baggers, wrappers, case erectors, sealers, and conveyors
• Perform Preventative Maintenance - Conduct scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Rebuild and Upgrade Machinery - Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools
• Optimize Production Performance - Make adjustments and repairs to maintain high-speed production efficiency
• Ensure Compliance and Safety - Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations

Requirements:

• Education and Experience - AAS degree, maintenance certification, or minimum 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Industry Knowledge - At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing sectors
• Technical Skills - Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, and conveyors
• Problem-Solving Abilities - Ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Strong Work Ethic - Self-motivated, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Blueprint and Schematic Reading - Ability to interpret technical diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Maintenance Software - Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other computerized maintenance management systems
• Electrical Troubleshooting - Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus
• Military Background - Veterans with maintenance experience are encouraged to apply
