Technical Sales Representative

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales opportunities and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize email, telephone, and virtual meetings to actively pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and provide suitable product and solution recommendations.
  • Coordinate the processing of sales orders and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Stay informed about products, services, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Attend tradeshows and customer events as required.
  • Maintain a regular schedule of customer visits.
  • Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through various methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Some level of sales experience in a specialized manufacturing setting, with a focus on customer relations.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in prospecting and selling capital equipment is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM system, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, as travel may be required.
  • Participation in safety training and certifications provided by the Company or customers may be required.
