Inventory Manager

Location: Little Rock, AR
JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Finance professional to fill the role of Inventory Manager in our Little Rock, AR location. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our Inventory Control functions. This includes conducting cycle counts of warehouse inventory, investigating any discrepancies, making necessary corrections, coordinating special processing of inventory, and performing related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effectively supervise and direct staff in inventory control, driver check-in, and quality assurance to identify and resolve variances, ensuring accurate perpetual inventory count and protection of company assets.
  • Develop and implement procedures to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy while minimizing shrinkage.
  • Manage driver check-in function, ensuring timely collection and intact deposit of dues, accurate accounting for obligations, and timely adjustment of any obligations.
  • Review daily inventory reports for possible errors and report information to Finance, Operations, and Merchandise departments.
  • Organize and facilitate shrink meetings to investigate and address the root causes of shrink.
  • Participate in the hiring and training of inventory associates.
  • Manage the performance and development of inventory associates.
  • Conduct the Product Recall process.
  • Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control management and supervision.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Must be properly trained and licensed in the operation of powered industrial equipment.
  • HACCP Certification required.

Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database concepts.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective public speaking skills.
  • Exemplary listening skills for effective communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
