Warehouse Inventory Manager

- Applicants must possess at least 5 years of experience in Inventory Controls.
- Applicants must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Warehouse Supervision.
- Preference will be given to candidates with International logistics experience.
This position will oversee a team responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and parts kitting. This includes conducting physical inventory counts while maintaining the ERP system, shipping spare parts orders both domestically and internationally, receiving and processing deliveries of purchased parts, and coordinating the allocation of inventory and purchased parts for work orders assigned to machine assembly crews.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control:
- Develop and implement procedures and policies for inventory control.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production schedules and meet customer demand.
- Regularly conduct inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and software.
- Provide training and supervision to inventory control staff, ensuring compliance with established procedures and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in inventory management.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Oversee personnel handling the shipping of spare parts orders, including small package and freight shipments.
- Ensure correct kitting of inventory for assembly work orders.
- Supervise personnel responsible for receiving and organizing parts from vendors.
- Coordinate machine shipping with the manufacturing department.
- Lead efforts to maintain a safe work environment and promote risk assessment to prevent accidents, incidents, and injuries.
- Manage the fulfillment process for spare parts orders.
- Coordinate the shipment of machines for both domestic and international transit.
- Direct the receiving process for incoming parts.
- Oversee the team responsible for parts kitting.
- Manage the inventory team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP certification is highly desirable.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
