Irrigation Sales Manager - Pacific Northwest

Position: Regional Sales Manager – Agriculture / Irrigation
Location: Southeast (Washington – Oregon – Idaho – North California)
International Irrigation company with a strong presence in the agriculture market is expanding its operations in the Northwest market and is seeking a talented sales professional who can collaborate effectively with Dealers and Distributors.
The ideal candidate must have sales experience in irrigation or related agriculture sectors and possess an engineering/technical degree, allowing them to be hands-on when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales activities in the territory, including providing sales, marketing, and technical support to dealers, consulting engineers, end-users, and other sales representatives.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support.
- Offer technical consulting on the company's products to prospective irrigation customers, designers, architects, and engineers.
- Manage and support the dealers and distributors.
- Engage in extensive travels within the territory.
Background
- Technical experience in the agriculture irrigation market.
- Knowledge and experience in selling to the irrigation/pump industry.
- Effective solution selling abilities.
- Experience in conducting product seminars to large professional groups.
- Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability, and professional demeanor.
- Able to perform financial calculations, forecasting, create and manage budgets.
Education and Experience
- BA in an engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in a similar role with familiarity in irrigation.
