What they require:

  • Current Pharmacist License (Ohio Pharmacist license to be obtained within 6 months)
  • Epic Willow certification
  • Three years of experience in acute care and four years of work experience in system administration, systems analysis/design, computer system project management, or relevant combination of experience and education
  • Experience with large enterprise clinical system projects and clinical information system software
  • Epic certification or Epic implementation experience

Hours and compensation:

  • Full-time day shift position
  • Periodic weekend and holiday requirements for Go Lives, and on-call issue support
  • Hourly pay range: $48.33 - $55 (depending on experience)
  • Full benefits package, including some relocation assistance

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with corporate management in setting organizational goals and develop systems and procedures to achieve those goals
  • Work with Pharmacy department, nursing units, ED, and other clinical departments to identify needs, select and acquire systems, and create plans for improved operations and system solutions
  • Coordinate nursing and related clinical applications for hospital information systems
  • Act as a liaison between IT, pharmacy, nursing, clinical departments, department directors, IS, and medical staff
  • Provide management and oversight of clinical system-based inpatient and ambulatory drug formularies
  • Manage pharmacy and closed loop medication management and related clinical applications for hospital information systems
  • Ensure completion and high quality of assigned deliverables, such as project plans, design documentation, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum, and activation plans
  • Support the PMO with design documentation, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum, and activation plans
  • Obtain approval of deliverables from appropriate users and ensure their completion according to the plan
  • Coordinate with other project teams to integrate work and system design, build, testing, training, and go-live
  • Evaluate business procedures and analyze business processes to ensure proper system configuration
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures as needed, provide training to IT staff and user clients
  • Provide expertise and experience in Epic product function, design, and build required for successful implementation
  • Support all project team members with application and information systems knowledge, and primarily focus on designing, building, testing, and activating the application database

  • Remote work possible, but must be located in Ohio and able to come onsite for Go Lives and on-call issues
