What we're seeking:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
- Current Ohio RN License.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, including prior management or supervisory roles.

Hours and compensation details:
- Full-time position.
- Salary ranging from $82K to $95K per year, dependent on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package provided, with relocation assistance available.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the operational aspects of Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units, encompassing planning, organization, and leadership of clinical managers across nursing units.
- Analyzing relevant department information regarding budgets, operations, personnel reports, and other activities, and devising action plans based on identified trends and discrepancies.
- Maintaining an efficient system for managing and retrieving information to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Demonstration of a solid grasp on operational issues within the responsible areas, providing necessary support to staff when required.
- Developing, implementing, and assessing systems and processes that contribute to overall system performance improvement.
- Serving as a resource for clinical managers and staff, offering assistance in their professional development, answering inquiries, clarifying procedures, and ensuring consistent delivery of patient-centered care.
- Effective management of staff, including appropriate recruitment, selection, and retention efforts to minimize employee turnover.
- Assisting in preparation for accreditation surveys, requesting reports to document issues, and working to ensure all areas of responsibility and staff are prepared, including necessary updates or corrections.
- Assisting in budget development and department scorecard creation.
- Reviewing monthly budget variances for departments.

- Supported by 2-3 Clinical Nurse Coordinators/Educators.
- Department details: Obstetrics-LDR Model: 10 Labor Beds, 3 Antepartum/Triage private rooms, Mother Baby-19 Beds, Maternal Family Education Program-Lactation Support, Bereavement, Childbirth Education.
