We are seeking a Professional Licensed Surveyor to join a client's team in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a team-oriented environment, facilitating communication between departments, and building strong relationships with clients and contractors. As a Professional Licensed Surveyor, you will oversee the surveying department, support engineering operations, and mentor team members. Additionally, you will manage survey crews, oversee scheduling, and play a key role in recruitment and training.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions for survey work certification.

• Ensure the accuracy of survey data, including field measurements and calculations, especially for easements.

• Conduct or oversee boundary surveys based on legal documents (deeds, titles, etc.).

• Interpret and record survey results related to land features like location, elevation, contour, and dimensions.

• Calculate property lines, elevations, terrain characteristics, and other key measurements.

• Supervise the preparation of all data, maps, records, charts, and documents related to surveys.

Qualifications

• Florida State Licensed Professional Surveyor (Required)

• Minimum 4 years of land surveying experience

• At least 5 years of experience with AutoCAD or similar surveying software

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects within budget and timelines

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills

• Experience in team leadership and surveying operations management

• Self-motivated and adept at working independently

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Valid Driver’s License

• Florida Surveyor License
