We are a very nice apartment complex in Urbana, IL seeking a Leasing Representative. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16-$18, as well as commissions, bonuses, and excellent benefits!
Job Description:
The Leasing Representative plays a crucial role in assisting the Property Manager in achieving occupancy targets by coordinating all phases of leasing. This includes responding promptly to inquiries through various channels, answering phones and setting appointments, implementing marketing plans, conducting market surveys, preparing lease documents, and maintaining resident satisfaction.
Sign-on Bonus:
Receive a sign-on bonus of $1,000 after completing 90 days of employment.

Essential Duties:
- Respond promptly to all inquiries by e-mail, social media, phone, mail, and website
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Assist in implementing marketing plans
- Conduct outreach marketing efforts and track results
- Conduct market surveys and provide recommendations to improve leasing
- Prepare lease documents and files
- Handle lease renewal letters and leases
- Review Lease Hawk calls
- Participate in resident retention programs
- Process resident applications and assist with maintenance requests
- Perform other duties as necessary to achieve goals and objectives
Reports to:
This position reports to the Property Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation from NAA preferred
- State required leasing license (if applicable)
- Previous leasing experience preferred
- Previous sales experience required
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Section 8 experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic computer skills necessary to navigate various systems
- Yardi Voyager experience a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends if necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
