No-Fault Litigation Legal Support

Our client is a top-tier law firm with nationwide offices, focusing primarily on the east coast. Currently, we are seeking a highly experienced No-Fault Litigation Legal Support professional to join our team in Uniondale, NY.

The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively handle multiple work assignments simultaneously, often within tight deadlines, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This individual must possess strong teamwork skills and be willing to collaborate and support others as needed. Being self-motivated and proactive is crucial, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should also have excellent organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to multiple attorneys by understanding and adapting to their unique practice, priorities, and preferences.
  • Preparing, editing, formatting, and proofreading various legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, contracts, complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings.
  • Handling electronic filing of documents on court websites (ECF/NYSCEF/AAA).
  • Managing and coordinating attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, conference calls, and Zoom meetings.
  • Opening new matters using Intapp and preparing retainer agreements and corresponding documents.
  • Inputting case progression data into Time Matters for No-Fault matters.
  • Entering daily attorney time using iTimekeep.
  • Providing administrative support such as answering phones, copying, scanning, and submitting expenses.
  • Demonstrating advanced Microsoft Word skills with a typing speed of 55+ words per minute.

Hybrid Hours:

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Minimum 3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week remotely
