This opportunity is for a full-time, permanent role as a Licensed HVAC Engineer for large commercial building systems. The position is with a reputable company that specializes in designing, constructing, and servicing commercial HVAC systems. The company is experiencing growth and adding more employees to meet the rising demand. Workload remains steady due to diverse clientele from various industries. The job offers exciting and challenging projects, ensuring employees are constantly engaged. Internal promotion opportunities exist, with the chance to potentially lead the design division within five years for qualified and interested candidates.
The work schedule provides some flexibility, but typically consists of 50 hours per week. Engineers will have the opportunity to witness the manufacturing process and installation of the systems they designed. Within four to five years, this role has the potential to develop into a division management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Designing HVAC systems for large-scale commercial buildings, utilizing Revit or CAD software
  • Managing HVAC projects from inception to completion
  • Determining building load requirements
  • Developing installation plans
  • Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment
  • Ensuring proper sizing of systems
  • Handling permit processes
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of individuals

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Holds a Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems license
  • Has at least four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings
  • Demonstrates strong passion for the field of engineering
  • Shows a consistent and impressive work history
  • Is a US citizen or holds a valid Green Card
  • Lives within a 45-minute commute from the job location
