This position offers a competitive base salary plus 33%+ of collections, along with access to exceptional legal resources, a strong marketing team, and monthly bonus payouts. Total compensation typically falls within the range of $530k to $990k, depending on the size of your book of business ($800k–$1.5M) and your level of involvement in handling cases versus delegating.

Higher earnings are possible if your book of business surpasses $1.5M.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee litigation matters for major clients spanning diverse industries
  • Utilize an existing $800k+ book of business for client engagements on a case-by-case basis
  • Collaborate with experienced associates, paralegals, and support staff to expand your book of business
  • Focused on delivering high-quality, hourly-based client work (no contingency cases)
  • Opportunity to explore expansion or specialization in general litigation or specific practice areas outside of insurance defense

Qualifications

  • Minimum of $800k in portable book of business (hourly billing required)
  • Extensive experience in litigation (excluding insurance defense)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while leveraging firm support
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills
  • JD with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions
