Summary
Administers skilled direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients based on the patient’s care plan, while under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Strictly adheres to universal precautions and complies with infection control policies.
Executes assigned tasks delegated by and supervised by a registered nurse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provides warm and amicable patient care, under the direction of an RN.
Precisely records and documents measurements or readings.
Delivers prescribed medications as indicated/documented by prescribing physician.
Collaborates effectively with other care providers in the unit.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of prior experience.
Current Ohio LPN license.
Must be IV Certified.
Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of orientation. Some positions require additional certifications as well.
Effective oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to observe, assess, guide, and evaluate others.
Proficiency in collecting data, interpreting findings, setting priorities, and executing established plans.
Capable of reading, calculating, and preparing medication, as well as observing and analyzing any resulting reactions and applying clinical knowledge.

There are several positions available, including positions at the Surgery Center on the day shift, the Main Hospital, and various Physician Offices.
The salary range is dependent on experience and position, with the Surgery Center LPN position paying between $21 per hour to $28 per hour, and the Physician Offices paying slightly less.
The facility offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, disbursed in 3 annual installments of $2,500. They also provide a comprehensive benefits package and some relocation assistance.
