Job Description
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for building machines, equipment, and their subassemblies according to mechanical and general assembly layouts. You will work independently, following written and verbal specifications. Additionally, you will identify and address any design or part problems and suggest improvements for our products and processes. You may also be involved in prototype work and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately report labor and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Maintain flexibility to handle stressful or emergency situations, prioritize tasks, and adapt to new job assignments
- Communicate effectively with team members and interact professionally with customers
- Consistently produce high-quality work within designated time frames
- Complete safety training for the use of equipment, including overhead cranes and fall protection
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures for safety
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 3 to 5 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment:
This position is based in a manufacturing environment, where you may encounter moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, and other hazards associated with manufacturing processes. Safety training will be provided for specific equipment and procedures.
As an employee, you should be comfortable performing physical tasks, including standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. You should also have good vision, including close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
