Title: Electrical Machine Assembler
Location: Tecumseh, MI
Salary: $30-$33 per hour
Shift: Second shift (Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am)

Job Summary:
Assembles electrical machines, equipment, and subassemblies by following wiring diagrams, electrical circuits, and other written and verbal specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Support Company philosophies, goals, and directions, including ISO9001 and 14001 policies and procedures.
- Accurately report labor hours in a timely manner.
- Safely handle materials during assembly.
- Produce high-quality work within specified timeframes.
- Set standards for cleanliness, attendance, and teamwork within the department/area.
- Have working knowledge of common hand tools.
- Maintain professional communication with customers in the plant and field.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues.
- Familiarity with standard and specialized equipment.
- Perform all wiring operations on assembly lines.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understand and utilize the parts inventory system.
- Train employees and customers on procedures as needed.
- Identify and resolve problems with electrical designs and parts.
- Suggest improvements for products, work area, and processes.
- Perform prototype work with limited engineering support.
- Oversee machine installations in the field, if necessary.
- Analyze designs for accuracy, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform panel component changes and build panels.
- Build and wire multiple product lines.
- Complete safety training for the proper use of overhead cranes and comply with safety requirements.
- Complete fall protection training and adhere to safety requirements when applicable.
- Complete lockout/tag out training and follow all necessary procedures.
- Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Maintain adherence to 5S standards in the work area.
- Report any discrepancies or errors in blueprints or material lists.
- Collaborate with second and third shift teams to achieve productivity and quality goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate personal leadership and actively contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Adaptability in high-stress, emergency situations, changing priorities, or new assignments.
