We are currently seeking 2 Maintenance Technicians for a well-established company located in Peachtree City, GA. This company holds a significant market share in their industry and fosters a positive and supportive working culture. One technician will work on the day shift, and the other on the second shift. The primary focus of these positions is on hydraulics, pneumatics, and valves.

The day shift role is from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The second shift position offers an additional $1.00 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and a half. This company provides an attractive hourly rate, as well as a 401K plan with matching and comprehensive benefits package. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities for these positions include maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property. The technicians will be responsible for making adjustments, performing mechanical and electrical repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Level I:

  1. Experience with pneumatics and principles of compressed air
  2. Basic understanding of hydraulic circuits and components
  3. Knowledge of plumbing, including pipe and fittings
  4. Ability to work with 120 and 480 volt circuits and other electrical tasks

Level II:

  1. Experience troubleshooting air logic systems using schematics
  2. Advanced understanding of hydraulic circuits and energy transmission
  3. Proficiency in plumbing tasks, including interpreting drawings and sizing pumps
  4. Knowledge of electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting and electric motor installation
  5. Proficient in welding techniques and cutting methods

Level III:

  1. Capability to install air logic controls based on prints or schematics
  2. Expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and identifying various components
  3. Familiarity with all fabrication equipment for maintenance tasks

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  1. Level I - High school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of related experience

  1. Level II - High school diploma or equivalent, along with 2-4 years of related experience

  1. Level III - Technical training certificates or Associates Degree, along with 6-8 years of related experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job entails working in a loud environment and being exposed to extreme heat, working at heights, outside weather conditions, fumes, chemicals, electrical shock, and vibration.
