Assurance Services Manager.

Location: Lakewood, NJ

Our client is seeking specialized expert assistance in Accounting Advisory, Audit & Assurance, Business Consulting, Buy-Side Advisory, Employee Benefit Plans, Estate Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax Compliance & Consulting. These services are provided for businesses in various industries, including Construction, Distribution, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Motion Picture, Nonprofit, Real Estate, and services.

As an Assurance Services Manager based in Lakewood, NJ, you will oversee the fieldwork of the assurance services staff and assume leadership and supervisory responsibilities for multiple assurance and audit-related client engagements and projects of different sizes and scopes.

The firm's assurance services are exclusively focused on privately held, entrepreneurial businesses. These services include:

  • Audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Agreed-Upon procedures
  • Internal control evaluation: reviewing accounting processes and analyzing key financial metrics
  • Forecasts and projections
  • Due diligence/acquisition assistance projects

Required Education and Experience:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Hold a CPA designation
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Experience in managing client engagements and building relationships
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership skills
  • Preferred experience in Healthcare / Skilled Nursing (but not necessary)
