Family Law Attorney Manager

Location: Towson, MD

Please note that this role requires employees to work on-site at the Towson, MD office five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the family law practice, managing attorneys and staff
  • Guide case strategies from initial intake to resolution, specializing in complex divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Ensure excellent client satisfaction and promptly respond to all client communications
  • Establish office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review case progress and enhance office performance

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in family law, covering divorce, custody, and support cases
  • At least 2 years in a managerial position, leading a legal team
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience
  • Exceptional client communication and relationship management abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to efficiently manage a high caseload
  • Proficient in legal research and case management tools
