Manufacturing Equipment PLC Technician - Swing Shift

  • The position requires working 5 days a week on a rotating 12-hour swing shift schedule, with 6 consecutive days off every 3 weeks
  • The hourly pay scale ranges up to $29.50
  • Minimum qualifications include an electrical mechanical degree or related field, experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, proficiency in PLC operations, and familiarity with AC and DC drives

The main responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Working on a rotating 5-day, 12-hour shift schedule with 6 consecutive days off every 3 weeks
  • Performing electro-mechanical maintenance on various paper product making machinery
  • Operating and maintaining DC and AC drives
  • Operating and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work on a rotating 5-day, 12-hour shift schedule with 6 consecutive days off every 3 weeks
  • An electrical mechanical or related degree
  • Prior experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
  • Proficiency in working with PLCs
  • Familiarity with AC and DC drives
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (typically once every other month for two days)
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays, if needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • A consistent work history without frequent job changes
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a valid Green Card
  • A residence within a 45-minute commute of the De Pere area
