Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate: Manage a team of 8 direct reports and supervise a total of 200 employees across 3 shifts.
  • Drive Productivity: Ensure operational efficiency and safety by collaborating closely with other managers and supervisors.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Meet and exceed targets for production efficiency, material waste, and product quality.
  • Drive Cost-Effective Operations: Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to consistently deliver top-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a Capital Plan to meet growing demands.
  • Inspire and Engage: Foster a culture of engagement and provide strategic direction to your team.
  • Safety First: Take charge of health, safety, and environmental processes across the entire facility.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for ongoing process improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and related methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Management, or equivalent experience of at least 7 years in an operational leadership role.
  • Experience: Over 7 years of experience in metal manufacturing, preferably in machining, welding, stamping, casting, or similar fields.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in optimizing yields, managing labor, and improving efficiency; experience with tracking systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment utilizing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
