Plating Production Manager
JOB OVERVIEW:
A well-established company dominating a significant portion of the U.S. market, located in Birmingham, AL, is in need of a Plating Production Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the plating department's day-to-day operations with a focus on safety, production, and quality. Planning and scheduling production activities are key responsibilities that come with this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
- Organize daily schedules and optimize personnel utilization.
- Maintain control over the plating chemical process.
- Implement corrective actions for process optimization.
- Supervise and coordinate electroplating, finishing, and inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with production plating procedures and standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and calculations.
