Marketing Director - Columbia, SC

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Director for our client in Columbia, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategy and campaigns. This includes creating the company marketing plan, coordinating marketing efforts, and overseeing one direct report. The Marketing Director reports directly to the company president.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong experience with utilizing social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
  • Data entry skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
  • Initiative and willingness to contribute where needed
  • Reliable and professional
  • Background in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred

The Role You Will Play:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to promote the company and drive traffic to the development staff
  • Create successful marketing campaigns for social media platforms, advertising, and brand awareness
  • Organize and manage RFQ, RFP processes, and AIA Qualification forms
  • Design and create content for website, social media, print ads, and press releases
  • Develop public relations ideas
  • Manage tradeshows, including displays, promotional handouts, and booth staffing
  • Manage signage for job sites, company events, and promotional events
  • Secure and update client owner reference letters on projects
  • Create content for bi-yearly company meetings
  • Consistently update and improve presentation material
  • Maintain and expand client and potential client database
