As a Scheduling Supervisor in Stuttgart, AR, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of complex forecasting tasks that are crucial to achieving production objectives. Your role will involve overseeing planning initiatives for new products or variable manufacturing processes.
In this position, you will serve as the main point of contact between the Supply Chain and Customer Service departments, acting as the voice of both the plant and the customer. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Examining engineering plans and product specifications to determine the raw material requirements needed to support manufacturing schedules.
- Collaborating with the Purchasing team to acquire and schedule materials based on production forecasts.
- Working with Engineering and other relevant departments to develop tools and procedures that optimize facility and equipment utilization.
- Providing guidance and support to lower-level planners as necessary.
This role requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
You must possess extensive knowledge of various manufacturing activities, including purchasing, materials, production processes, and engineering. Proficiency in understanding and applying engineering specifications is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary, along with proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
