Mechanical Applications Engineer (BSME)
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a minimum of 2 years of industrial sales application engineering experience, and at least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience are required
- Successful candidates must enjoy engaging with customers via telephone (20-25 phone calls per day)
- Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $80,000

The sales applications engineering process is automated through industry-specific software. Customers input their data on the website, and the software generates quotes, proposals, and follow-ups, allowing the Sales Application Engineers to focus on providing tailored solutions. Quotes and proposals can be obtained in as little as fifteen minutes. Travel is not required for this position. The primary responsibilities include:
- Spending 30% of the time on the phone (approximately 20-25 calls per day)
- Applying engineering knowledge to recommend suitable products
- Investigating and addressing customer needs
- Troubleshooting and solving customer problems
- Utilizing the software throughout the sales process
- Analyzing and presenting alternative proposals to the sales team
- Communicating via telephone, email, and virtual channels
Experience in combustion is beneficial. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- At least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience
- A strong affinity for customer interactions via phone calls
- A solid grasp of mechanical concepts
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales
- A proven track record of professional stability
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
- Residence within a 45-minute drive from the Richfield, WI location
