Your Role With the Company

As a Junior to Mid-level Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing HVAC production drawings and plumbing designs
  • Designing process piping, including compressed air, gas, and water piping
  • Preparing fire protection specification sheets and scope documents
  • Reviewing documentation on projects and interacting with clients
  • Attending client meetings and working closely with the Senior Mechanical Engineer
  • Coordinating information with other disciplines to ensure client expectations are met
  • Potential for progressing into the Company Leadership Team

Industrial manufacturing, food processing, distribution warehouse, office, office/warehouse, and other commercial buildings

Background Profile

  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering design of HVAC and Plumbing systems for industrial and commercial buildings
  • Consideration given to new grads with internship experience up to 5 years
  • Areas of design include central plants, pumps, air handling units, temperature control systems, piping systems, ductwork systems, and more
  • Must have experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience with energy modeling, Revit MEP, plumbing, electrical, construction, and industry software a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, COMcheck, and HVAC load calculation programs
  • Must have at least an EIT and desire to earn PE
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET approved University
