This is a full-time opportunity for a Mechanical CAD Manager with expertise in 2D AutoCAD. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded industrial manufacturer that specializes in producing environmentally friendly products that reduce pollution and costs associated with fossil fuel usage. The increasing demand for company products has created opportunities for career advancement within this role, including potential for a lead position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- 30% of the time dedicated to staff management
- Nearly 70% of the time designing industrial heat transfer systems in 2D AutoCAD
- Occasionally designing industrial heat transfer systems in 3D AutoCAD, upon customer request
- Producing various engineering drawings
- Working with all company products
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of eight years of professional experience in 2D AutoCAD
- Minimum of eight years of mechanical design experience
- Minimum of eight years of manufacturing environment experience
- Engineering degree
- Strong work history
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
- Residence within a 45-minute drive from the location
Preferred but not required backgrounds include any (but not all) of the following:
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram experience
- Boiler experience
- Combustion power experience
- Heat transfer experience
