Mechanical Engineer – Sanitary Process Piping

We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer with a focus on sanitary process piping to join our team in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Our company is a well-established manufacturer specializing in custom structural, system, and metal components for various industries, including biotechnology, food, and pharmaceutical. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with ambitions to progress into project management. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Managing projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget
  • Planning and budgeting for various custom engineering projects
  • Engineering, fabricating, and testing custom projects
  • Reviewing detailed 3D SolidWorks drawings for custom engineering projects
  • Collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Supporting project engineers and working harmoniously with engineering and production staff
  • Creating and maintaining the Production Ready Library
  • Generating Engineering Change Notices and bills of materials
  • Coordinating project integrations and overseeing field installations

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in biotechnology, food, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong multi-project management skills
  • Stable work history and commitment to quality work
  • US citizenship or possession of a Green Card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute to Whitewater, WI
