Requirements:
• Must possess an active license as a Medical Assistant-Certified in the State of Washington (Candidates with national certifications must still become credentialed through the WA State Department of Health)
• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant for at least one year
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record systems; Epic experience is preferred
• Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification
Working hours and compensation:
• Full-time positions are available. Five openings are for 7:45am-5:15pm shifts, and one opening is for Sunday-Saturday 8am-7pm.
• Compensation ranges from $19.75/hr to $33.00/hr, depending on experience level. Shift differentials apply, with evening shifts offering an additional $2.10/hr, night shifts offering an additional $3/hr, and weekend shifts offering an additional $2.25/hr.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance of up to $5,000 and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
Responsibilities:
• As a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C), your role will involve assisting healthcare providers and other members of the clinic's health care team. You will handle various back-office tasks and patient-related duties to ensure a seamless patient workflow within the department.
• Within the scope of practice defined by the facility and under Washington State certification, you will perform a range of patient care procedures. This may include administering injections, conducting EKGs, performing ear lavage and blood draws, measuring vital signs, managing rooming and patient flow, preparing patients for their visits, assisting during visits, and carrying out post-visit responsibilities. You will also update the provider on schedule changes that may impact patient flow.
