What we're looking for:

  • Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified (National certifications must still become credentialed through the WA State Department of Health)
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, Epic preferred.
  • Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification

Hours and compensation potential:

  • Positions are full time. 5 openings are 7:45am-5:15pm and one is Sun-Sat 8am-7pm.
  • Range is between $20.50hr-$34.00hr depending on experience. Shift differentials are $2.10hr evenings, $3hr nights, $2.25hr weekends.
  • Full benefits package including relocation assistance up to $5K and a sign-on bonus up to $5K.

What you'll be doing:

As a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C), your responsibilities will include assisting providers and other members of the clinic healthcare team. This involves performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure a smooth patient workflow within the department.

Within the scope of practice defined by the facility under Washington State certification, your duties may include administering injections, conducting EKGs, performing ear lavage and blood draws, measuring patient vital signs, managing rooming and patient flow, assisting with the patient visit, and completing post-visit duties. You will also be responsible for informing the provider of any schedule changes that may impact patient flow.
