Position Summary:
The Lead MRI Technologist works independently to supervise and manage MRI operations in Irvine location. They ensure high quality service, productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction. In addition, they handle personnel issues, compliance with safety regulations, and act as a liaison between internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Venipuncture Certification
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and software issues
- RDCS certification or RCS certification
- Availability for on call rotation and weekend shifts
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent MRI experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility
- Interpersonal skills and sensitivity to work with diverse patient populations
- In-depth knowledge of MRI equipment and technology
- Leadership skills in training and guiding employees
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
- BLS Certification
- Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Effective organizational and coordination skills
- Flexibility in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with healthcare professionals
- ARRT certification and AART-MRI
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-5 years of experience in a level 1 trauma center (not required)
- Some experience in an academic hospital
- Previous leadership experience, even without a title
- Excellent and thorough communication style
