Position: Non-Destructive Testing Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (Level II)
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Our client, a leading company in the aerospace manufacturing field, is currently looking for a highly skilled individual for the position of Level II Non-Destructive Testing Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (NDT FPI Inspector). The purpose of this role is to support the non-destructive testing processes and ensure the airworthiness of aircraft components.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) using test panels in accordance with customer specifications.

• Conduct inspections using black light (UV) technology to identify surface discontinuities.

• Clean, sterilize, and dry components to meet inspection preparation standards.

• Adhere to job travelers to ensure accurate FPI preparation and execution.

• Identify and mark discontinuities following inspection standards and procedures.

• Complete inspections by carefully following guidelines in relevant technical manuals.

• Perform regular checks on precision measuring instruments used in inspections.

• Accurately record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.

• Participate in continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

• Carry out any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Preferably certified in Level II Non-Destructive Testing (FPI).
