ER Nurse

- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas, or immediate eligibility
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment, before independant patient care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment
There are two positions available, with 12-hour shifts. One is a day shift starting at 7am, and the other is a night shift starting at 7pm.
Hourly pay ranges from $40.00 to $48.00, depending on experience. Night shift differential is $4.50 per hour.

- Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse, provide professional nursing care following the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients
- Act as a patient advocate within the healthcare system
- Perform specialized patient care tasks
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and treatment of patients in accordance with legal, ethical, professional, and institutional standards
- Participate in the hospital's Quality Improvement and Service Excellence programs
The position is located approximately an hour from Houston.

The facility is an accredited, not-for-profit acute care community hospital with approximately 120 beds.
