•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

•Must have 2+ years of experience in the emergency department

•Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas, or immediate eligibility

•Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment, prior to independent patient care

•Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment

•Two positions available, offering 12-hour shifts. One is a day shift (starting at 7am) and the other is a night shift (starting at 7pm)

•Hourly pay range of $40.00-$48.00, depending on experience

•Night shift differential of $4.50 per hour

•Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse

•Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients

•Serve as an advocate for patients within the healthcare system

•Perform specialized patient care tasks requiring training and skill

•Ensure the safety, comfort, and treatment of patients in accordance with legal, ethical, professional, and institutional standards

•Participate in the hospital's Quality Improvement and Service Excellence programs

•Position is located one hour from Houston

•Work alongside a supportive team of nurses

•Facility is an accredited, not-for-profit acute care community hospital with approximately 120 beds
