The ideal candidate:

•Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse License.

•Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a chemo nurse in a cancer-related setting. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

•Must have knowledge of clinical operations, medical terminology, levels of care, treatment modalities, and the current healthcare delivery system.

Hours and compensation:

•This is a full-time position primarily working the day shift.

•Salary range is between $75,000 and $110,000, depending on experience. The package includes comprehensive benefits and some relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

•Manage the daily operations of the Cancer Center within the facility.

•Educate staff on department policies, provide excellent customer service, support physicians and staff, ensure and track compliance, enhance the patient experience, and improve quality metrics.

•Ideal candidate will have previous practice management experience in an Oncology setting.

•Develop and promote a patient-centric culture, with a focus on patient scheduling, arrival, and follow-up activities.

•Oversee and assist in the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and termination of staff members.

•Ensure compliance with Medical Center policies and procedures.

•Monitor and meet practice-specific benchmarks, including point of service and scheduling.

•Identify areas for improvement, expansion of services, and potential new market areas within the practice.

Additional information:

•Reports to and collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing.

•The facility is an acute care hospital affiliated with a larger healthcare system and has around 100 beds.
