- Must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN). A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

- Previous experience as a Circulator is required.

- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky.

Hours and Compensation:

- Positions are for day shifts, and candidates must be willing to rotate on-call responsibilities.

- Seeking candidates with previous experience in the Operating Room (OR).

- Hourly rate ranges from $30 to $44, depending on experience. Excellent benefits package available, and relocation/sign-on bonus may be offered.


  • Perform interventions in accordance with the established care plan, including administering medication, collecting specimens, and providing clinical treatments.
  • Document all patient care provided.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
  • Ensure surgical asepsis and sterile technique, and prepare and position patients for procedures. Confirm availability and validity of all equipment, supplies, and instruments before surgery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and providing spiritual/psychosocial support when needed.
  • Assess patient and/or family learning needs and provide education throughout the perioperative process, tailored to their age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Provide care for surgical patients during the intraoperative process, including preoperative preparation and postoperative care.
  • Operate specialized equipment for procedures and maintain a safe surgical environment.

Additional Information:

This position is at an 80-bed acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission.

The nurse will report to the Director of the Operating Room and work with an exceptional team.
