Per-Diem / Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a Home Healthcare Occupational Therapist in Las Vegas, NV who is passionate about delivering exceptional Occupational Therapy services.


    1. Conduct occupational therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, skilled treatments, and ongoing evaluations for clients following a medically approved Plan of Care.
      • a. Complete assessments promptly and in compliance with Agency policies.
      • b. Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved functionality.
      • c. Provide assessment findings and goals to assist in developing the client care plan and obtain specific physician orders when necessary.
      • d. Document all findings, plans, interventions, and client progress (outcomes) on designated forms and submit them according to Agency guidelines.
      • e. Communicate plans and changes to the physician, nursing Case Manager, and other Agency staff through the care plan, written progress notes, and participation in care conferences.
    2. Guide and instruct clients in therapeutic self-care and creative activities aimed at enhancing independence, as well as physical and cognitive functioning.
    3. Advise, consult, and teach appropriate treatment procedures and supportive activities to clients, family members, and other Agency staff.
    4. Create and/or order suitable adaptive/assistive devices and/or splints to optimize functioning.
    5. Instruct clients and their families on the client-specific program.
    6. Perform job duties in compliance with Agency policies and procedures, as well as professional and community standards.
      • a. Provide services in accordance with applicable state, federal, and JCAHO standards.
      • b. Attend meetings and required educational programs.
      • c. Take responsibility for personal and professional development and identify learning/developmental needs to supervisor.
    7. Attend care conferences, initiate interdisciplinary referrals, and participate in care coordination as needed.
    8. Participate in the Clinical Record Review Committee.
    9. Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.


  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum, jointly accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association; or eligibility for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Current registration or license as required by state(s) of practice.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent.
  • CPR certification.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile per state/Agency requirements. Must have a safe driving record and reliable transportation.
