Insurance Account Manager

Location: Ocean Springs, MS

Note: This position mandates employees to be at the Ocean Springs, MS office five days a week. Remote work may be an option for the right candidate.

Note: An active Property & Casualty Insurance License and a minimum of 3 years of personal lines insurance experience are required. If you do not meet these criteria, please refrain from scheduling a call, as it will be canceled.

**The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, with on-target earnings (including commissions) of around $72,000.**

Job Description

  • Managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance clients (auto, home, renters, umbrella)
  • Delivering excellent service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Handling policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and coverage adjustments
  • Resolving billing, underwriting, and claims issues with carriers
  • Providing advice to clients on policy choices and coverage enhancements
  • Maintaining accurate client records in agency management systems
  • Cross-selling other insurance products when appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance with agency procedures and insurance laws in all actions

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License necessary
  • Minimum of 3 years in a personal lines insurance capacity required
  • Familiarity with auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management software (AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-centric approach
