Job Description for Physical Therapist Assistant
- Administer hands-on therapy sessions under a Physical Therapist's guidance
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment regimen, and progress
- Empower patients to take responsibility for attending and following therapy programs
- Accurately document each session and update treatment plans as needed
- Adhere to the therapist's care plan and relay any patient updates
- Supervise therapy technicians for seamless treatment sessions
- Maintain case management records and productiveness reports
- Assist in marketing efforts as required
Requirements
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
- Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or qualification to acquire it
- Strong communication and patient care abilities
- Capable of working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting
- Dedication to assisting patients in achieving recovery objectives
