Job Description for Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Administer hands-on therapy sessions under a Physical Therapist's guidance
  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment regimen, and progress
  • Empower patients to take responsibility for attending and following therapy programs
  • Accurately document each session and update treatment plans as needed
  • Adhere to the therapist's care plan and relay any patient updates
  • Supervise therapy technicians for seamless treatment sessions
  • Maintain case management records and productiveness reports
  • Assist in marketing efforts as required

Requirements

  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
  • Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or qualification to acquire it
  • Strong communication and patient care abilities
  • Capable of working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting
  • Dedication to assisting patients in achieving recovery objectives
