What You’ll Be Doing:
- Evaluate patients and create personalized plans of care, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Provide direct rehabilitation care while supervising and supporting physical therapist assistants.
- Manage rehabilitative services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, overseeing personnel, budget, and equipment resources.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, and retain departmental personnel, conduct performance reviews, and maintain licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to create and review the department's annual budget and monthly reports.
- Develop, review, and revise departmental policies and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
About You:
- Kansas licensed Physical Therapist with experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in educational programs, hospital meetings, and continuing education as required.
Additional Info: We have a great staff to work with, including 1 FT Physical Therapist, 1 FT CPTA, 1 part-time CPTA, 1 Contracted CPTA (fills in when needed), and 1 FT Occupational Therapist.
