What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Evaluate patients and establish personalized plans of care, ensuring follow-through with established treatment plans.
  • Provide direct physical therapy care while monitoring physical therapist assistants and ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage rehabilitative services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, overseeing personnel, budget, and equipment resources.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and retain departmental personnel, conducting performance reviews and maintaining licensure requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to prepare the department's annual budget and review monthly reports.
  • Develop, review, and revise departmental policies and procedures, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.

About You:

  • Hold a valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas with experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient settings.
  • Possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing optimal patient care and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to participate in educational programs, hospital meetings, and continuing education as required.

Additional Info: Our dedicated team in Harper, KS includes 1 FT Physical Therapist, 1 FT CPTA, 1 part-time CPTA, 1 contracted CPTA (fills in when needed), and 1 FT Occupational Therapist.
