Rehabilitation Center Manager
Location: Woodbridge, VA
This position is located at our Woodbridge, VA practice.
Our client is a large orthopedic practice owned and operated by physicians. They have over 60 locations in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia. With a workforce of around 2,000 employees, spread across 28 divisions, the organization is continually expanding.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains a therapy site environment that is accessible, safe, clean, positive, and energetic.
- Delivers patient care and handles management and administrative tasks.
- Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding patient treatment and documentation.
- Oversees therapy staff, including therapists, front desk personnel, and support staff.
- Ensures that there is sufficient clinical staff available to provide exceptional patient care during all operational hours.
- Trains newly hired therapists in site operations, patient scheduling, clinical coding, compliance, and office documentation.
- Recruits, interviews, and hires therapy staff according to company policies and procedures.
- Conducts performance evaluations for all staff members.
- Provides counseling, disciplinary actions, or terminations for therapy staff when necessary.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and medical equipment.
- Evaluates and continuously monitors equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Ensures that all therapists possess and maintain valid state licensure in all states where treatment is provided.
- Ensures that all therapy staff holds and maintains valid CPR certification.
- Prepares and submits designated reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to the Practice Administrator.
Requirements: Education, Experience & Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Hold a state license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Certification in CPR for Healthcare Providers.
- Proficiency and experience in working with computers and electronic medical records.
