Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Master HVAC Technician with expertise in commercial HVAC and gas piping systems to join their team in Pawtucket, RI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC pipefitting, as well as the ability to lead and manage small projects. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, requiring collaboration with a team and ensuring work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC Piping Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and gas piping systems in commercial environments, using various piping materials (copper, steel, PVC).

• Project Leadership:

  • Lead small projects, coordinating with team members and contractors for efficient execution of installations, modifications, and maintenance.

• Troubleshooting and Repairs:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to HVAC piping, gas piping, and plumbing components, ensuring operational efficiency and safety through repairs and system adjustments.

• Blueprints and Schematics:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and repair processes, in compliance with industry codes and safety standards.

• Client Interaction and Customer Service:

  • Effectively communicate with clients to address concerns or questions regarding HVAC systems and piping, providing expert recommendations for system improvements or troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC pipefitting and plumbing.
  • Proven experience in leading small projects and managing HVAC piping installations and repairs.

• Licensing and Certifications:

  • Valid Master HVAC Pipefitter license (required).
  • Gas piping certification (preferred).
  • Additional certifications related to HVAC or plumbing systems are a plus.

• Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, gas piping, and plumbing.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
