Manufacturing Finance Manager
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager for their Spartanburg location. This role is within a 600-person plant in the automotive industry, with a preference for candidates with experience in this field. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not required.
The Manufacturing Finance Manager is responsible for financial oversight in a manufacturing setting, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Collaboration with plant management is key to optimizing operations and driving profitability.
Key responsibilities of a Manufacturing Finance Manager include:

Financial Reporting:Creating and analyzing financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting:Developing and managing annual budgets, forecasting financial performance, and providing updates to plant leadership.

Cost Analysis:Analyzing production costs, material consumption, labor expenses, and overhead to find cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.

Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or excess.

Internal Controls:Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Compliance:Ensuring compliance with financial regulations at all levels.

Audit Support:Working with auditors for smooth audit processes.

Team Leadership:Supervising a team of accounting professionals, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable functions.
