The responsibilities for this role include:
- Oversight of all plant operations, encompassing production, scheduling, procurement, shipping/receiving, and logistics to ensure efficient order fulfillment
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, instilling accountability and fostering continuous improvement
- Collaborating with the Production Manager to optimize workflow, resource allocation, and establish seamless coordination with engineering, sales, and customer service teams
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the facility while driving cost-saving initiatives
- Tracking key performance metrics, assessing equipment needs, and implementing best practices to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in purchasing, shipping/receiving, and managing customer or sales order inquiries
- Thorough understanding of industrial manufacturing, production scheduling, and supply chain management
- Stable work history with no instances of short-term employment (less than three years)
- Must be a US citizen or hold a Green Card
- Residence located within a 45-minute commute of Richfield, WI
