Plant Systems Manager (Windows/VMware)
Location: Charleston, SC

We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Systems Manager to oversee the IT infrastructure at our two manufacturing facilities. Located in Charleston, SC, this role is vital in ensuring the reliability and security of our manufacturing systems.

If you have extensive knowledge in Windows, Active Directory, and VMware, and enjoy collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams to optimize processes, we would like you to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Effectively administer physical and virtual servers, with focus on Windows servers running on VMware.
• Manage Active Directory, ensuring plant environment security, backup, and recovery measures are in place.
• Work together with the Information Security team to mitigate system threats.
• Supervise Thin Manager, Thin Clients, and operator stations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to successfully implement changes while adhering to IT change management protocols.
• Resolve system issues and engage with vendors when necessary.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to IT colleagues in systems administration and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Have 4-7 years of IT experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Windows, Active Directory, and VMware environments.
• Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Preferred experience in Cisco Nexus, Siemens Industrial network equipment, VSAN, VMware 7, Veeam, and FortiGate firewalls.
• Possess the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
