Job Description
- Oversee the entire preconstruction process for healthcare facility projects
- Create and present competitive bids, budgets, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape project strategies
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations for project interviews
- Assess risks and ensure alignment with operational and financial objectives
- Maintain and report accurate cost history and project data
- Contribute to design review and value engineering initiatives
- Support business growth by nurturing strong client relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating, with 2 years in healthcare construction
- Experience in the Nashville, TN market is essential
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret construction documents and conduct accurate quantity takeoffs
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with local construction practices and subcontractor market
- Valid driver’s license
