HVAC Systems Engineer

Currently, we are seeking an HVAC Systems Engineer position located in Mcbee, South Carolina.

Our McBee, SC facility currently has an immediate opening for an HVAC Systems Engineer. The chosen candidate will undertake a range of responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
  • Ensure adherence to ergonomic and safety practices in all manufacturing functions, equipment, and facilities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across geographical locations, creating and facilitating project plans.
  • Utilize data analysis and experience to develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods.
  • Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and report status to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities, including daily huddles, technology utilization, and integration events.
  • Evaluate technologies and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and procure equipment, materials, or parts.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and costs for management decision-making.
  • Consult with management, engineering, and staff regarding production schedules and capabilities.
  • Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and manufacturing personnel to promote quality and lean manufacturing.
  • Provide support to all client manufacturing locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager in support of Manufacturing Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of five years of work experience.
  • Interest, formal studies, and/or experience in refrigeration cycle, air conditioning systems, and/or heat pumps in a manufacturing environment (EPA 608 certification is a plus).
  • Project management certification or extensive knowledge of project management in a manufacturing environment (familiarity with lean methodologies preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions quickly.
