Manufacturing Process Engineer

Location: Ashland City, TN
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer located in Ashland City, Tennessee.

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for performing advanced engineering tasks under limited supervision. You will also serve as a mentor to our engineering design team and contribute to development projects throughout the entire cycle, from concept to completion.

Responsibilities
• Participate in industry groups.
• Perform advanced engineering tasks under limited supervision.
• Oversee all aspects of a significant engineering project, ensuring timeliness and adherence to budget.
• Develop action plans and resource estimates for project requirements.
• Prepare monthly reports on project progress and costs.
• Use CAE tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, EES, CFD, FEA.
• Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures.
• Analyze and identify causes of component failures.
• Provide technical solutions for manufacturing and customer field issues.
• Lead design group during conceptual phase of product development.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare reports on project status.
• Complete assigned engineering projects according to specifications, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate brainstorming activities and problem-solving sessions.
• Perform other assigned duties, as required.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably with lean manufacturing and capability studies
• Experience with 6 Sigma or FMEA is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to solve complex problems
• Experience in leading Kaizen and continuous improvement activities
• Ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues through root cause analysis
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems is beneficial
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD. SolidWorks preferred.
