Process Improvement Manager
The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for guiding site pillar leaders and the entire plant organization in effectively implementing the company's Process Improvement program and High Performance Organization (HPO) tools, while adhering to company and HPO practices. These tools ensure that the organization is designed to achieve the site plan through reducing losses and engaging all employees. The Process Improvement Manager promotes the consistent and effective use of pillar tools, facilitates communication across teams, and encourages the utilization of company best practices and standards. The Process Improvement Manager will become an expert in the company's process improvement program and HPO tools and practices.
In this role you will:
• Assist the site leadership team in developing HPO systems and behaviors during the planning, startup, and operation of the new plant
• Coach the plant leadership and pillars in building high performance capability at all levels of the organization
o Assist in the development of reliability systems that are as robust as safety and quality systems
o Ensure that standardized pillar requirements are met across all pillars
o Facilitate rapid lead line reapplication throughout the site
o Serve as the owner of the Work Process Improvement pillar
• Ensure site compliance with the master planning cadence
o Ensure the completion and/or review of the site loss analysis action plan
o Ensure the completion of organization performance modeling or health assessment
o Lead internal and external process excellence phase assessments for the site
o Coach pillar leaders and department managers in building and executing plans that align with the site plan
o Establish a trajectory for completing process excellence phases
• Support the results management process at all levels of the organization
o Provide coaching on how to determine appropriate metrics and targets at all levels of the organization
o Ensure that result updates are clearly displayed throughout the plant
o Provide coaching to pillar leads and department managers on the gap analysis process and triggers for response
o Ensure that data-driven decision making occurs at all levels of the organization
What we are seeking: Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree
• Prior experience in operations using continuous improvement (TPM, IWS, HPO, Operational Excellence, etc.) tools to drive business results
• Prior track record of improving and sustaining results
• Experience in training, facilitation, and leading groups
• Ability to lead by influencing others
• Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
